In no other form of aviation does the flight training essentially stop after the pilot soloes, but in hang gliding this is often exactly what happens. Intermediate to advanced pilots are more or less on their own when it comes to learning advanced soaring and cross-country flying techniques.
The World Team Academy was founded to teach the necessary skills and provide the necessary guidance for ambitious and demanding pilots to quickly and safely expand their horizons, advance their skill levels, and experience the thrill and rewards of cross-country and competition flying.
We have accelerated programs developed for pilots of all abilities, from recently soloed students to competition ranked pilots. Whether you are looking forward to your first cross-country flight or trying to improve your current ranking, Word Team Academy has a clinic for you. Alternatively, we offer individual programs, tailored to your specific needs, where you work one-on-one with a World Team Academy Instructor.
